In an effort to make Sophie and Benson great friends Dave tried to bring them closer. Benson isn’t quite there yet… and Sophie doesn’t seem to notice him either way. We’re sure they’ll be friends soon enough…

Hiccups
Sophie gets the hiccups about once a day, sometimes more. It’s pretty cute, so I tried to capture it. Not to worry – after this video and I picked her up before she started crying. I don’t think she thinks they’re as cute as we do.
One Week Birthday!
Today marks Sophie’s one week birthday! We took her to the pediatrician this morning and she was back up to her birth weight (and a little past it) at 7lbs 7ozs. On Friday she was 6lbs 11ozs so she’s been packing on the weight over the past few days. She has quite the appetite so we weren’t surprised. 
Sophia Elizabeth Sharp has arrived!
Sophia Elizabeth was born on March 2, 2010 at 9:25am. She weighed 7lbs 5oz.
Due date belly!
So, today is the official due date, but it doesn’t look like she’ll be arriving on time. We went to the doctor today and I’m still 1 cm dilated, but her head is low, so that’s a good sign.

39 Week Belly
Just days to go! My due date is on Wednesday, February 24th… but who knows if she’ll be on time. I started to feel the first contractions yesterday and things are definitely shifting. 
Nursery Update
The furniture is all in and clothes are in the closet! We still need art for the walls… but we’ll get there (I hear babies are okay with out art, at least for the first few weeks).

Sorry – no pictures (but will get some up this weekend).
Just had my weekly visit with the doctor and everything looks good. Still not dilated and the head is still above the cervix, so she said no baby anytime soon. Which is good because Dave and I are off to NYC this weekend and I’m really trying to avoid going into labor while at Babbo.
