We did a lot of celebrating at the end of fall. First was Hayley and Tim’s wedding a Aronomick, which brought together most of the family.

And the following day we had Ava Devine’s Bat Mitzvah at the Union League, which was a total blast. While the kids have attended many, Dave and I have only attended a few of these, and every time we have so much fun!

And finally, a few weeks later we celebrated Dylan and Catherine getting married in Rock Hall! It was a lovely wedding at Osprey Point.

And, while not a wedding, it was still a celebration when I headed down to Virginia to celebrate Aleen being recognized by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for being an ambassador. The event was a good fest – my favorite kinds!

Over Labor Day weekend, Brittany and Zack got married in Portugal! We made the wedding our summer vacation, spending the first part of the week in Lisbon and then heading to the south of the country to Albufeira for the wedding. We enjoyed two days of celebrations – starting with a white party the evening before, followed the next day with a ceremony on a cliff overlooking the Atlantic and a ceremony at a vineyard. It was truly an amazing wedding!

At the end of September, Shannon and Mike got married at a beautiful place in Stroudsburg, PA. It was a perfect night and the ceremony was held outside in the woods followed by a reception in a building that had a log cabin feel. It could not have been more them. The girls stayed home and watched Maddie while the adults all drove there and back. It was the perfect night for the perfect couple!

On September 9th Carley and Chris tied the knot! It was a beautiful ceremony, presided over by Becky, at a cute venue with a rustic vibe. Both girls were in the wedding. Lauren was a flower girl with Ari and Sophie was a junior bridesmaid. They did a great job and looked beautiful.

It started to rain right at the end of the ceremony, but it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. The party inside was hopping and everyone had a really good time.

Lauren caught the bouquet, but quickly passed it over to Hayley, who was very much angling for it.

Carley and Chris are getting married in September and celebrated the bride at a shower at the beginning of June. The party was at a cute restaurant in West Chester. There were a lot of family there and it was great to catch up with everyone.

Over Memorial Day weekend, Julia and Madeline celebrated their marriage with a party at a restaurant in Fish Town. It was a great party with a lot of friends and family there to celebrate.

On September 9th we went to the wedding of Justin and Steve, who have been dating for 10 years.  The event was a Greensgrow in Fishtown and it brought together our whole college gang.

On September 9th Dave’s cousin Danielle and her husband Mike got married (again!). They were married by a Justice of the Peace a few years ago, but wanted to have a big wedding too.
